Room 104 will be visiting the Eastman Egg food truck on Thursday morning (it will be on the south playground/basketball court). We will learn about nutrition and participate in making a nutritious breakfast. Most of the school has already done this and I have heard some great things!
So the time has come for me to take my first sick day in almost three years. I tried to avoid it by resting all day but I really need to rest another day. Please let you child know as it is best to prepare them for a day that may be different.

Not all students We made our prediction on Monday and looks like we thought the same thing as Phil the groundhog!
Thank you to the chaperones who helped on our wonderful field trip to Wonder Works on Tuesday. The students had a blast and are still talking about it. Our next field trip is coming up in late March. Dear Room 104 Families,
We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friday the 12th. The children are encouraged to bring a valentine for each of their classmates (24). We are asking that the students only write who the valentine is from. Please do not write who the valentine is to. Email your teacher if you would like to volunteer to help with our Valentine’s Day party starting at 2:45 p.m. on the 12th. We are needing donations of two large bags of conversation hearts and treats for our party like cookies or cupcakes. Email me if you would like to donate and/or volunteer. We look forward to celebrating Valentine’s Day next Friday. Love, Ms. Maltz Room 104 Families,
Our field trip to the Children’s Museum is on Tuesday, February 2nd. This is a normal school day for students with the regular start time of 8:45 a.m. and end time of 3:45 p.m. For our field trip, students must bring a DISPOSABLE lunch to eat while at the museum. The museum is a shoe free zone so ALL students and chaperones MUST be wearing SOCKS. This should be a great time. Thanks in advance to our chaperones. Ms. Maltz |
