Morning Meeting
Students will be introduced to independent journaling this week. We will start with how to make a WOW Picture and come up with a list of topics to write about. Students are encouraged to draw very detailed pictures and the students who can write words/letters will be encouraged to do so. Math
Please join us on Friday, August 31st at 2:45 p.m. in the Ray School Auditorium for Kindergarten - 4th Grade Orientation. At this time you will meet me! There will be an ice cream social following the orientation.
While you will not be able to see the classroom during orientation, you are to come up with us to the classroom on the first day of school. You will follow our class line to the classroom. Once the students have found their seats I will give a few announcements and introductions. It is also the perfect time for that first day of school picture! Following this, there is a Kindergarten Coffee in the lunchroom where you will hear information from the PTO. On the second day of school, the students will walk in line with me to the classroom on their own. They are ready! So excited to meet everyone! I am very excited to move down the hall to Room 101 this year after spending the previous six year in Room 104. I have already spent a lot of time making Room 101 the best learning space for the students but I am going to need a little help. Please click the link below to visit my Donor's Choose project. You are also encouraged to share this link with friends and family and post it on your social media. Thanks!
