We completed the above graph to predict if an apple would sink or float in water. Most of the class predicted sink, but as you can see the apple floated. We came up with a lot of good reasons why we think this happened.
Our favorite color apples. It is hard to tell from the picture, but the germ apple on the left is full of spots and is darker than the clean apple. Now, check out how the apples looked when we came back to school Monday! The germ apple is growing things and is very disgusting! We are going to be watching the above apples all week to see what happens to them. The apples are in (from left to right): sparkling water, water, vinegar, soda.
