We were very excited to start our Apple Germ Experiment today. The apple on the right was just put into the bag. The apple on the left was touched by all our hands then placed in the bag. The students made some great predictions about what the apples will look like at the end of the week.
Tomorrow we will make an apple volcano. Not sure I will be able to take pictures during that, so make sure to ask your child after school. Color Experiment Day 5 Color collages. Morning Meeting:
Dear Kindergarten Families,
Next week we are learning all about COLORS! We will be learning songs, reading great books, and creating color collages. Please have your child bring one DISPOSABLE color item to class every day that they can add to our class collage. The colors are listed below. Remember, it is disposable so they will not be bringing it back home. Here are a few great examples of disposables items… legos, paper clips, feathers, beads, hard candy, stickers, bottle caps, and pencils. We want our kindergarten kiddos to stand out so, we will be dressing for the color of the day too. Make sure your child dresses in the color that we are learning about each day. Here is our schedule for next week… Wear the following colors on the given day and bring in an item of the colors. Monday: yellow, blue Tuesday: red, purple Wednesday: orange, brown Thursday: pink, green Friday: rainbow Activity Wish List for each class: Chocolate M&Ms Large Marshmallows Fruit Loops If you can donate any of the above items, please email your teacher ASAP. Have a colorful day, The Kindergarten Team |
