Order forms and checks are due Friday, October 13. Please take orders from friends, family, neighbors and co-workers - you’ll be pleased to find many people want to support our school! Incentives and prizes awarded to individual students and classrooms!
Next week (Oct. 2) we will be starting our theme study of apples. We will continue with this theme for nearly two weeks and it will also be incorporated into our literacy and math times. We have so many fun activities planned with apples and even some great science experiments. Please help out our activities by sending one or two apples with your child to school starting the 2nd. Any color will do!
Happy Apple Picking, Ms. Maltz We had a lot of fun doing different activities with yellow and blue today as well as our first color experiment.
Above you will see pictures of Day 1 of our color experiment and also our predictions. We will continue to watch this experiment all week. Tomorrow we will being another experiment with food coloring, water, and flowers. Today, we made ABAB patterns with marshmallow stamping and tomorrow we will work on ABC patterns with fruit loops. This week during math centers we are doing color mixing during teacher table. We loved the discoveries we made today while mixing colors. Be sure to check out the pictures I sent today on Remind. Next week we are learning all about COLORS! We will be learning songs, reading great books, and doing some wonderful color experiments. We want our kindergarten kiddos to stand out so, we will be dressing for the color of the day too. Make sure your child dresses in the color that we are learning about each day. Here is our schedule for next week… Wear the following colors on the given day.
